Nazma Binte Abdul Rehman is an educator and lifelong learner with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Peshawar, earned in 1978. She has pursued further education in Business Management with Accounting in Pennsylvania, USA, and completed an International Business program at Sheridan College in Canada.
Originally from the Gulberg area of Peshawar, Pakistan, she has lived in various parts of the world, including Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, and the Greater Toronto Area in Canada. Her experiences across these regions have contributed to a broad understanding of diverse cultures, communities, and religious practices.
In the 1990s, while residing in Saudi Arabia, she pursued formal Quranic studies, including Islamic History and Tafseer (Quranic exegesis). After relocating to Canada, she continued her religious education through ICNA Sisters Canada, where she remains an active participant in study circles and community programs focused on Islamic learning.
Nazma also has an interest in traditional arts and travel. She engages in creative activities such as ceramic flower arrangements and silk painting. Her travels are motivated by a desire to learn about cultures and observe how communities relate to one another and to their beliefs.
Her writing centers on sharing knowledge and exploring themes of cultural heritage, education, and intergenerational understanding. She draws on her academic, religious, and personal experiences to contribute to conversations around learning and community life.
